This means that as part of the health commitments of the Armed Forces Covenant, we have a dedicated clinician who has a specialist knowledge of military related health conditions and veteran specific health services This is important in helping ex-forces to get the best care and treatment.

If you would like to register for SystmOnline, please ask at Reception for an ‘Application for Online Services’ form or print one from the ‘New Patients’ tab at the top of the screen. You will need to attend the surgery in person along with the completed application form and photographic ID.
eConsult is available at Fremington Medical Centre
eConsult is a great service for patients to use through our practice website. Here you can learn more about your condition, get self-help medical advice for hundreds of common conditions and request advice & treatment from your GP via an online form.

Do you work in a residential care home ...
... and have direct contact with patients? In that case you may be eligible for a free flu vaccination. You will need to provide one of the following:
o Payslip from your employer, showing the employer is a care provider
o A letter from your employer
o An identity card, showing your employer is a care provider

About Patient Online
Our online service SystmOnline, allows you to order repeat medication, view your medical record and book GP appointments. Please contact Reception if you wish to sign up for these services. You can also view a summary as well as a more detailed version of your health record (on request). For record access you will need to attend the surgery in person, bringing with you some photographic ID and complete a registration form while you are here.

Advance notice of staff meetings
The surgery will be closed one lunchtime per month from 1pm to 2pm. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. The closure is to allow us to hold our monthly staff meetings. We will confirm the date concerned every month.

Named Accountable GP
All registered patients at our practice have now been allocated a Named Accountable GP, who is responsible for the overall care of the patient. New patients joining the surgery will be advised of their Accountable GP at the point of registration. If you do not know who your named GP is, please ask a member of our reception team. You will still be able to see any GP of your choice.
If you have any questions, or wish to know who your named GP is, please contact the surgery. If you have a preference as to which GP is your named GP, the practice will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
Would you like a chaperone ?
If you would like a chaperone present during your consultation, please advise the receptionist or doctor when booking your appointment or when checking in.

Urgent medical calls after 4.30 pm
Unfortunately, due to increasing demand and a shortage of GPs we are unable to take requests for routine medical calls after 4.30 pm. This is to enable the GPs to deal with urgent cases and emergencies in the evening.
The practice has facilities for people with disabilities, including ramp access and a disabled toilet on the ground floor with a stair-lift to the first floor.
